所有需要在本地顯示過程壓力、同時又必須監(jiān)控閾值的應用都是帶開關觸點的溫度計的用武之地。開關觸點會根據(jù)顯示測量儀表的指針位置接通或斷開電路。如果讀數(shù)遠超或低于設定值，就會觸發(fā)報警，這就是所謂的“報警觸點”。觸點壓力表也可用于啟動、停止或開關過程。

TGS55電接點溫度計的描述
所有需要在現(xiàn)場顯示過程溫度，同時又必須切換電路的應用都可以使用該帶電接點的雙金屬溫度計。
電接點開關（也稱“報警電接點”）可根據(jù)測量儀表的指針位置接通或關斷電路。電接點開關在全量程范圍內(nèi)可調(diào)。儀表指針（實際值指針）可在整個量程范圍內(nèi)自由轉(zhuǎn)動，不受設置的影響。
設定指針可使用一個可插拔的鑰匙（安裝在接線端子盒上）從儀表窗口進行校正。
電接點開關不僅包含多個電接點，而且可以設置單個設定值。當實際值指針超過或低于設定值時，電接點便會進行切換。
電接點開關包括電感式電接點和電子式電接點。其中電感式電接點可用于危險區(qū)域。電子式電接點可用于開關可編程序邏輯控制器（PLC）。
