IEC 60695-2-20
IEC 60950-1
ASTM D 3874-03
UL 746A

Hot Wire Ignition Tester Model 4670

Hot Wire Ignition Test is a type of resistance test to fire for materials of enclosures and decorative parts. The sample is put on a specified stand and an element wire is winded around the material to be tested. The wire is heated up by an AC current to see if the test sample ignites. Please note that some older standards require the use of DC current. See Hot Wire Ignition Tester Model 4610.

Used in test standard:
IEC 60695-2-20
IEC 60950-1
ASTM D 3874-03
