ZTT Indonesia Special?Optical?Fiber Capacity Expansion Project｜VTON Complete Solution of Valves & Flow Meters for Overseas Preform & Drawing Production Line

Driven by surging demand for global AI computing network and 5G communication, ZTT launches phase?2 capacity?expansion project for special?optical?fiber plant near Jakarta, Indonesia. New production lines for optical?fiber preform manufacturing, fiber drawing and coating?cabling are built, focusing on G.657 bend?insensitive special fiber and high?speed multimode fiber for North?American and Southeast?Asian customers. The Indonesia?based manufacturing layout optimizes trade?tariff risks. The plant covers six major fluid?system modules: special?gas pipeline for preform VAD/OVD deposition, UPW ultrapure?water system, drawing?tower cooling?water circulation, coating?chemical feeding, process wastewater treatment and plant?wide utility gas?water system. Project Challenges

1. VAD/OVD vapor?deposition process for optical preform requires      ultra?stable flow of special process gas and high?purity chemicals. Minor      flow fluctuation will trigger internal defects on preform and reduce yield      of special optical fiber. Organic solvents used in coating process are      corrosive.

2. UPW system demands high?purity piping with zero?leakage and no?precipitation.      Impurity precipitation from valves will contaminate fiber coating layer.

3. Wide?range media including high?purity process gas, glycol      coolant, acid?alkali wastewater and organic solvents. Multiple flow?meter      types are required for large?flow and micro?flow conditions.

1. Pneumatic control valves with Hastelloy trim: Precise pressure      & flow regulation for chemical and special?gas pipelines, compatible      with corrosive media for preform production and fiber coating.

2. PTFE?lined ball valves & PTFE?lined diaphragm valves: On?off      for UPW and organic?solvent pipelines, high?purity non?precipitation      design to avoid secondary medium contamination.

3. High?purity 316L stainless?steel pneumatic ball valves: On?off      control for cooling?water, compressed?air and protective?gas utility      pipelines.
